I confess...

My ongoing confessions to a not so perfect life:

I have no patience... none whatsoever. This is severely tested being a mother and I am good at managing it towards the boys but ours house renovations are killing me. I can see the end result, the final product and I want it now! But money and time amongst other factors are keeping the brakes on and I have been known to snap at S after his day off... 'I can't believe you only got one wall painted', not remembering we have two toddlers, the walls were spackled and now need plastering then sanding then two undercoats. My bad!

I finished The Originals and The Vampire Diaries entirely ... as in there are no more episodes to even watch ... and as a result, have entirely gone off TV. I am totally relating to these Netflix memes:

Inspired by my last round of confessions, I finally rolled my Super into one account! I know, go me... helps that the mygov account makes it stupidly easy with the click of a button. So easy I even did S'. Annoyingly, mine came back with more work - I need to provide my marriage certificate ... bloody name changes!

I'm on my own in the office today... I will probably have a bag of microwave popcorn for lunch.

I love Tupperware... as in really love the stuff and won't have any inferior plastics in my home! I've never met a piece I don't like from memory and actually enjoy going to and hosting Tupperware parties. I don't mind going to any party plan parties actually. I don't ever feel obligated to buy and don't know why people are so anti them. Its a break from the children and a chance to socialise with my friends.

If it wasn't Winter and so darn cold, I'd let C run around in a nappy all day ... or nakey. Seriously, dressing this child and or trying to get a nappy on him is an exercise in trying to get a onesie on a flailing octopus with all 8 tentacles waving madly... complete with tortured screams that must have our neighbours convinced all sorts of horrors are happening in our house, particularly after breakfast and dinner (bath time).

But you know what?
I'm a really great mumma to E and C and a really great wife to S.
I'm not perfect but they don't need perfect,
they just need me, imperfections and all.
