Confessions of a shopaholic

Shopping

I know Christmas is only around the corner and I shouldn't be shopping for myself at all but I've had some great buys lately and they're all pretty basic staple pieces or necessities that I got for a steal -  still, don't tell my husband.

Rag & Bone boyfriend jeans - I'm obsessed with Rag & Bone denim lately and these jeans are a great cut, so flattering and great for the weekends with a tee or singlet. I've worn them almost constantly since getting them.

Roxy rash vest - its so important to be sun safe and as we will be spending alot of time in the water over Summer, this is a necessity. Also, no one wants me flashing them over our Summer beach holiday but I fear C's grabby little hands will ensure everyone cops an eye full if I brave a bikini and hello, my dad and brothers will likely be there too! Looking after my skin and modesty in one swoop - plus it was only $30 shipped.

Sheike Truth or Dare dress - I've had my eye on this dress forever. Its really versatile for night and day wear and I love that its demure enough for work events but not frumpy. Its also flattering with the folding around the middle and split length. An ebay score for under $50 NWT, its already marked for a cocktail party tonight and a dinner coming up early December. Loving that its not black too!

Lilly Loves soft Aztec shorts - only $15 with a stretchy waist! Get to it on the Target website now. Available in black, an orange print and a blue print, throw on a tee or singlet and its the perfect wear for casual Summer days.

Target stripe swim bottoms - to go with the aforementioned rash vest. These were only $10 so even if I only get one Summer out of them, I won't be disappointed. I just can't justify the $80+ I used to spend on bikini bottoms (and the $120 on a top) anymore - I guess that's growing up (and having a mortgage).

Target 3/4 harem pants - again, a bargain at $15, these are a necessity. I have wanted and needed something comfy to pull on at home after work when its too early for pjs and I don't relish grubby little fingers all over my work wear.

Witchery split hem tee - the Witchery spliced and split hem tees and singlets are amongst my favourite basics lately and while I'm sure I'll live to regret the white with 2 little boys, there was a hole in my wardrobe for this (no doubt caused by the said grubby little fingers).

Aztec Rose one piece - for the same reason I bought the rash vest, I'm hoping these will help me keep my dignity intact while swimming with my littlest boy and his grabby hands. They were only $34 shipped from Surf Stitch and the sheer panels make it a little more fun than a standard black suit.
